Nakon dobijanja otkaza slikar autsajder iz Beograda, Aleksandar, gubi svog psa i kreće u potragu za njim. Sa svojim neobičnim prijateljima vodi nas na putovanje kroz svoju viziju Srbije, dajući joj društveni, politički i emocionalni kontekst. Lutajući ovim fragmentima, i Aleksandar i Srbija traže identitet.
After getting fired, an outsider painter from Belgrade, Aleksandar, loses his dog, and now he is on a quest to find it. He guides us with his strange friends on a journey through his vision of Serbia, giving it the social, political and emotional context. Roaming through these fragments, both Aleksandar and Serbia are looking for an identity.

Kroz različite životne priče tri transrodne osobe, film postavlja pitanje slobode, razumevanja i prihvatanja u zemljama razapetim između tradicionalnih sistema vrednosti i težnji ka Zapadu. Helena je prevremeno penzionisani major, prvo vojno lice u Srbiji koja je promenila pol. Kamila je iz Bosne i Hercegovine, i dalje se nada tranziciji u Srbiji nakon višegodišnjih pokušaja. Vuk je kršten u Crnoj Gori, kao prva transrodna osoba koja tada nije završila tranziciju. Njegova rodna promena neočekivano mu je spasila život.
Through the diverse life stories of three transgender individuals, the film poses the question of freedom, understanding, and acceptance in countries torn between traditional principles and aspirations toward the West. Helena is an early retired major, the first military person in Serbia to change her gender. Kamila is from Bosnia and Herzegovina, still hoping for transition in Serbia after years of trying. Vuk was baptized in Montenegro as the first transgender person who did not complete the transition at that time. His gender transition unexpectedly saved his life.
